Hotel American can be easily reached from the PARKING (Piazzale Roma and Tronchetto), the TRAIN STATION, MARCO POLO AIRPORT and TREVISO AIRPORT. Hotel American is located in a residential area, off of the Grand Canal, near the Accademia di Belle Arti, the Guggenheim Museum, the Church of S. Maria della Salute, San Marco Square, and the Rialto Bridge. You can be brought by boat directly to the hotel thanks to our private dock for gondolas and motorboats, reserved for our customers' sole use.

PARKING

(Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto Island)

You can leave your car in a large parking lot on Tronchetto Island, at the end of the bridge across the lagoon. At Piazzale Roma, you can park your car either at the Garage Comunale or Garage San Marco. Take a public boat ("vaporetto") or a private water-taxi to the Hotel. Take the # 82 vaporetto to the "Accademia" stop (#12) from which it is only a two-minute walk to our hotel. A private water-taxi can drop you directly in front of our hotel. The service costs approximately 60.00 Euro for two passengers, including luggage.

TRAIN STATION

From Venice's train station, S. Lucia, you can reach our Hotel with public boat ("vaporetto") or with a private water-taxi service. Take the # 82 vaporetto to the "Accademia" stop (#12) from which it is only a two-minute walk to our hotel. A private water-taxi will drop you directly in front of our hotel. The service costs approximately 60.00 Euro for two passengers, including luggage.

FROM MARCO POLO AIRPORT You can take a private taxiboat directly to our hotel (it takes 40 minutes and it costs about euro 85,00 for 2 people including luggage) or the "alilaguna" water bus service to zattere boatstation (it takes 1 hour and 20 minutes and it costs euro 10,00 each including luggage); then follow the canal on your right and turn left after having crossed the first bridge on the way and follow the s.vio canal for about 100 meters (just 2 minutes walking in total). From the airport you can take also a public bus to piazzale roma (the direct one -atvo- takes about 25 minutes and costs about 4,00 euro including luggage).

FROM TREVISO AIRPORT

From Treviso airport take the bus to Venice (Piazzale Roma) and then a water taxi directly to our hotel (it takes 15 minutes and it costs about 60 Euro for 2 persons including luggage) or a public waterbus number 1 or 82 to Accademia boatstation (it takes about 30 minutes and it costs about 6 Euro including luggage), then go left following direction to Peggy Guggenheim collection and turn right after the first bridge (just 2 minutes walking in total).
